Guest photos from J
The little rascal stole (some photos with) my phone while I totally pwned her ShopVac. Yesterday evening.
Dinner 092708
And our one-year anniversary lunch at Moghul's, Sunday. Jessimay and I, pre-relationship, went to lunch for the first time there last year. Huzzah!

Book-launch parties, the superfluous nipple of publishing
So, Chris Onstad [right] models Ray on himself. I'm surprised, but it does make sense.

Breakfast, walking to the office, dinner
A reprise of Irish porridge, shoes on the wire and veganburger on flourless half-bun with spices and cilantro, and greens with some Laughing Cow swiss and light Italian.

Breakfast, and then a stroll around the school before it reopens. Never saw a dog with a beard as well as a gallop that literally sounded like a horse's before.
Dinner and the drive home
We ate at the Crooked Roster Pub/Wildflower Cafe; I am an unrepentant omnivore, and enjoyed their chicken green salad. Didn't notice Tioga Downs on the drive to the Glen, somehow.
Damn it, now we have to walk all the way back down.
Not enough cash to take the shuttle, the last one of which left 15 minutes before our second finally exited the mens room anyway.
Ten More, even.
It's almost as tiring to post these as it was to walk up all of those steps [and for you to skip through these posts].

Is it my imagination
or does Sarah Palin never hold her five-month-old baby? I've only seen the daughter or the husband hold the kid. That's odd, isn't it? Her speech yesterday was ... sure to inspire millions.
Dear John Fogerty; the peanuts in my poop won't eat themselves.
So, last night I dreamt that I had dinner with Jonathan Winters. We improvised the entire time. Man, he really is the best.
Then, I went for a drive and found my fiance in a diner just past the border of Nowhere (NY). She had the rest of this dream herself.
When I awoke, I had this blaring in my head -- so loud it even drowned out the regular voices:
Flyin' across a lamb!
Tryin' to find a ham!
Playin' inna tlavelin' band!
wow!
It's still playing, over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

Farm Sanctuary VI
I now blame Sept. 11 and all that has followed on Chevy Chase. I like that Natalie Merchant's signature is so Peter Arnoesque.
The Bat, man.
I don't know how he got in my parents' house, and I didn'y know that smacking him off that curtain with a broom would, um, kill instead of stun. Sorry. They really are just flying mice. 08/26/08
